Unfortunately, we must charge a fee if Blue-ray or Playstation 3 (PS3) Discs are returned scratched. Please be careful with Blue-ray Discs!


How MUCH is a Blue-ray Hi-def Movie rental at QuipFLix?
  • It costs $4.50 to rent a Blue-ray New Release Hi-def Movie for 3 days at QuipFLix.
  • It costs $4.50 to rent a Blue-ray Qatalog Hi-def Movie for 5 days at QuipFLix.

How LONG is a Blue-ray Hi-def Movie rental at QuipFLix?
  • Blue-ray New Release Hi-def Movies are THREE (3) DAY RENTALS at QuipFLix.
  • Blue-ray Qatalog Hi-def Movies are FIVE (5) DAY RENTALS at QuipFLix.

What do I need to watch Blue-ray Hi-def Movies?
  • HDTV (preferably 1080p)
  • An HDMI cable for the best picture quality
  • Blue-ray player OR Playstation 3 (PS3) Game Console
  • Blue-ray Movies

Can I play DVDs on a Blue-ray Disc player?
  • YES. Regular DVDs will play just fine on a Blue-ray Disc player.
  • In fact, a Blue-ray Disc player will UP COVERT your DVDs to play at their highest possible resolution!
  • Your regular DVDs will never look and sound as good as on a Blue-ray Disc player and Hi-Def Television set!

Will the Playstation 3 (PS3) Game Console play Blue-ray movies?
  • YES. The Playstation 3 (PS3) Game Console is also a Blue-ray Disc player.

Can I play a Blue-ray Disc on a DVD player?
  • NO. Blue-ray Discs play on Blue-ray players, Playstation 3 (PS3) Game Consoles, or Blue-ray drives for
    computers and will NOT play on DVD players.

What if I already own an HDTV that's 720p, do I need to buy a 1080p HDTV if I want to watch Blue-ray Movies?
  • NO. While your 720p won't maximize the native 1080p picture of your Blue-ray Discs, the high definition
    picture produced by your television and Blue-ray player will still look very good.

Do I need an Internet connection to watch Blue-ray movies?
  • NO. An Internet connection is NOT needed to watch Blue-ray movies.

Are Blue-ray Movies available in Full Screen?
  • Blue-ray movies are delivered in the original theatrical aspect ratio, which is Widescreen. Since all HDTVs are
    also Widescreen format, generally your movies will fill up the screen. However, depending on the film,
    sometimes you will see small black bars on the top and bottom of your screen, but significantly smaller than
    you would see when watching a Widescreen movie on a standard definition television set.
